Management Body of Mt Oiti National Park, Sperchios Valley and Maliakos Gulf (M.B.) is basically financed by European Community resources (Third Community Support Program, National Strategic Reference Framework – NSRF) as well as by Greek funds (Green Fund, Regular Budget).

Operational Program “Transport Infrastructure, Environment and Sustainable Development ” (2014-2020)

From July 2019 and until the end of 2023 M.B. is financed by the Operational Program “Transport Infrastructure, Environment and Sustainable Development” within the framework of NSRF 2014-2020. The project which has already started to be implemented, has the title “Subsidy of the Management Body of Mt Oiti National Park, Sperchios Valley and Maliakos Gulf for Management Measures of Protected Areas, Species and Habitats”. Its initial budget is 983.360 € and it includes three sub-projects.

Operational Program “Thessalia – Sterea Ellada – Ipiros” (2007-2013)

From December 2011 and until the end of 2015 M.B. was financed by the Operational Program “Thessalia – Sterea Ellada – Ipiros” within the framework of NSRF 2007-2013. The project which was implemented, had the title “Protection and Conservation of the Biodiversity of Mt Oiti National Park”. Its initial budget was 1.978.300 € and it included four sub-projects.

Operational Program “Environment” (2000-2006)

During the period 2007-2009, M.B. was financed by the Operationa Program “Environment”, within the framework of the Third Community Support System. The project’s title was “Initial Operation and Management of the Protected Area of Mt Oiti National Park”, the primary budget of which was 365.000 €, and it included 8 sub-projects.
